EPCOT's next E-Ticket

Before teh robo coaster technolgy came out, there was talk of using the same ride system of the tower of terror , but side to side back and forth in a dark ride . As most of you know gravity only plays a small part of the TOT. The motors of the ride actually drop you faster the gravity, and pulls up up and down with this ride system. Imagine what they could do. I'm imagining a Tron-like dark ride, moving with speed. Sort of like riding though snow white a break neck speed. Stopping reversing, turning, full speed ahead etc !
